This week is the first week since Covid happened that I’ve been able to print new work (as opposed to reprints), and boy does it feel good to be back at it! With that said, check out the beautiful custom guitar labels we just made for local luthier, Peter Thorsson (@mynamenumber). These were letterpress printed in chocolate brown and red inks on custom 3”x2” handmade 1889 Wool sheets from @porridgepapers. Due to the handmade nature of each sheet, each label is slightly different and each has natural deckled edges all the way around. I can’t wait for pics from Peter of these new labels inside some of his beautiful guitars!

Happy Friday, Everyone! I’m thinking back to a happier day today, when social distancing was not yet a thing, and I got to both design and print wedding invitations for, and attend the celebration of two dear friends’ love and commitment to each other.
Will & Stina (@stinam7) we’re married at their beautiful home in Eugene in September 21, 2019 and their wedding decor and invitation design reflected the beauty and abundance of a perfect Western Oregon fall day. Their invitation suite was letterpress printed with gold hot foil stamping and black inks on a variety of cotton and recycled ecru, red, and kraft papers. Everything was enclosed in a red envelope with a custom tartan plaid envelope liner. Extra details included a cork belly band with gold leaf inlays, and a custom laser-engraved, walnut wood, Oregon-shaped belly band tag.
