Helping other small business owners amplify their branding and product packaging has been a cornerstone of the work I do at Twin Ravens Press for a really long time.
The cards and hang tags in these images were created for my very talented broommaker and long-time friend, Alyssa, of @hearthcraftbrooms in Eugene. Alyssa’s work is a beautiful combination of ritual, practicality, and craftsmanship. Each of her brooms are one-of-a-kind and are imbued with beauty, sustainability, and a little bit of magic.
Alyssa designed these letterpress cards to function as both Hangtags and business cards. They are letterpress printed on duplexed 100% cotton paper, and feature both black ink and small, blind embossed bits of decorative broom corn on both sides.

I am honored to have gotten to create graduation announcements this spring for a dear friend who just completed their doctorate at University of Maryland College Park. I met Dr. Gray 7-ish years ago when they were working on their Master’s degree at the University of Oregon. After finishing their Masters, Les moves to the DC area to complete their doctorate. They will be moving to Missouri later this summer to begin a post-doctoral fellowship at The University of Missouri. Les is definitively one of the most compassionate, dedicated, and talented people I know, and if you happen to be in Missouri, you would be lucky to get to take a class from them.

Les’ announcements are an A9 size, letterpress printed on 100% cotton duplex paper in black ink, and gold and red hot foils. They are paired with a bright red envelope, printed with gold foil address, and are lined with a coordinating handmade, Italian, floral paper. Printing these announcements in celebration of Les and their huge achievement has been a highlight of my spring and I can’t wait to hear all about what comes next in their life.
