The napkins pictured here were printed for Amanda & Anthony’s winter wedding in Santa Monica, California this past December and featured the couple’s monogram, wedding date, and their home states. Bring on the charm! 🥂

Hey Eugene! Today is our first day vending at the @whiteakercommunitymarket this year, on 4th Avenue, between Blair & Polk Streets in the Whiteaker! The market is open from 11-4 and we have greeting cards, letterpress art prints, coasters, and wooden engraved plant marker sets available. Come by and say hi!

It’s not very often that I get jobs requiring ha

It’s not very often that I get jobs requiring handsetting metal type these days (most of what I print comes from photopolymer and magnesium type-high plates), but it sure is fun when we get one that lets me pull out some leads and slugs!

These cute 4bar size flat note cards were printed with black ink and handset metal 42 pt. Baskerville, on cotton paper, with a touch of gratitude.

Speaking of gratitude, we also hit 2,400 followers today, which feels pretty special given that my devotion to regular social media posting is lackadaisical, at best (but, I’m trying!). Thank you all, whomever you are. xo

These save-the-dates that I printed this past week

These save-the-dates that I printed this past weekend were just so pretty, that they just really deserve their own post.

We began with a custom drawing of the couple’s venue, @belairbayclub (drawn in @procreate and then made into a photopolymer plate!), and added a lovely script font and a more classic serif face for the info, mixed up a custom very light “warm grey with a touch of brown” ink and letterpress printed them on @porridgepapers Porcelain 1889 handmade paper, with natural deckled edges. These were paired with China white envelopes with brown addressing. Just so perfect.

This was another one of my favorite wedding suites

This was another one of my favorite wedding suites from 2021! We were able to combine many fun design elements including beveled painted edges (courtesy of @pricepaperbeveling), gold foil, delicate pink florals, and custom laser cut, leafy belly bands and menu mattes. I just love it when we’re able to make so many cool, distinctive elements come together in the same suite!
