Happy Labor Day and a big congratulations to our clients, Hannah and Aaron Taylor, who were married this past Saturday at a summer camp in Fall Creek, Oregon! Prior to Covid-19, Aaron and Hannah has sent save-the-dates to a significantly larger number of prospective wedding guests, but due to the pandemic, we had to figure out how to courteously make their guest list smaller. The solution we came up with was to create matching invitations (for their nearest and dearest who they wanted to still celebrate with in person) and a set of announcements for their extended community announcing their marriage. Both the invitations and announcements were letterpress printed in black ink on handmade, @porridgepapers 1889 “Wool” Paper, and each came with a small registry/website card that was made out of 1889 “Lambs Ear”. We paired them with a dark, slate grey envelope, foil stamped with their return address in matte white. I love how the simplicity of this design really shows off the beauty of the letterpress printing and handmade paper. It’s just enough, without being “too much”: truly timeless. Congrats, Aaron and Hannah!! 🥂 🍾🎉

New parts are always thrilling! This is our oldest

New parts are always thrilling! This is our oldest press (in years, at 108, and still churning away!), and the one I’ve personally been operating the longest (13 years and counting!). I replaced the rollers once, back in 2007, when she first came into my possession, and that set got replaced today. Thirteen years is a lot of printing! Thanks so much @advancedroller! The new rollers are perfect; I’m over the moon!

Who’s looking forward to (hopefully) being able to hold big gatherings and celebrations again in 2021?!? We sure are. Check out these beautiful save-the-dates we created earlier this summer for Justine and Ted’s July 2021 wedding to be in Park City, Utah! Each save-the-date and matching Citrine colored envelope was letterpress printed in dark grey ink. After they were printed, Justine’s great-aunt “Zeba”, embellished each one with custom touches of watercolor. No two are alike, each one beautiful and unique!

His & Hers. Custom Personal Stationery & Wedding Thank You Cards. This sweet couple had to postpone the celebration of their June 2020 nuptials. Even though their celebration (and hence, invitations also) is on hold until next year, they still wanted to send some thank yous... so we printed the thank you cards first! His are navy blue ink on ecru cotton paper with matching envelopes with navy blue liners. Hers are navy blue ink on Savoy White Cotton with matching envelopes and a soft floral peony envelope liner in shades of white, light blush, and cream. 🥂
