So happy to continue our label collaboration with @wildcraftcider. They just released the newest addition to their Pom-Mistelle brandy wine series. We letterpress printed the labels for this Pommeau Rouge on real wood veneer with black vegetable-based inks and shiny red hot foil. Labels were then die-cut to their unique shape and size, one at a time. If you’re in the area, get yourself a bottle: they’re all incredible. 🍎🍷🥃

As 2019 is rapidly drawing to a close, I’m feeling a little sentimental. I started this business in November, twelve years ago, with only $300, an incredibly supportive mentor, a burning passion for antique machinery, a love of art and good design, and a set of parents who told me I could do anything. There’s been a lot of success, and a little bit of failure, and some growing pains, and a ton of learning, as these twelve years have passed. This year, looking back, feels like one of the most successful. It’s still not uncommon for me to work multiple 10-hour days in a row, and I often work 6+ days a week, and forego holidays, for this crazy little business that I love. That hard work, though, has allowed me freedom that I never could have had if I had stayed in the corporate design world. And, frankly, I can’t really imagine anything else that I would rather be doing with my time. •
I want to put a big “Thank You” out to all of you, but especially to my “repeat offenders”: the artists, designers, event planners, and other business-people, who have put your events, and brands, and passion-projects, and faith in me, and in this work, over and over, again and again.
