Check out this elegant set of wedding invitations that were recently completed for a lovely couple in the Atlanta, Georgia area who are having a destination wedding in Colorado this coming April. Shanley and Chris are having a lovely, early spring wedding in the Vail, Colorado area where they will wed and hope to enjoy some spring skiing! Their invitation suite includes an A7 size invitation and an A2 size reply card, both printed in one ink color (chocolate brown) with blind embossed details and envelopes to go with each! Check out the whole suite at the top of this post.
ical Social Worker. She splits her time between Wilson, Wyoming and Montecito, California and these calling cards were a surprise gift for her from my mother, as she had once mentioned to my mom that she needed new calling cards badly. They feature her name, both towns where she resides and her e-mail address. Her previous calling cards had a small half-moon and star motif that we chose to continue in the new design. These were printed on Crane Lettra Pearl White 100% cotton paper in navy blue ink. Once again, I love the way a clean and simple, yet elegant design can really convey a person’s personal contact information, oh so nicely.

First of all, I must send a huge thank you out to everyone who came and said “hi” yesterday at the Meet Your Maker Holiday Show. The show was a great success, and we had a much better turn out this time than at the one we did in November, so thank you to everyone who came!
their names and then a place for them to indicate which event(s) they would be attending. Kate and Erick planned a Friday night welcome and a Sunday morning brunch, as well as their wedding ceremony and reception, which was held on a Saturday. They also included a space where guests could write in a song that they would dance to at the wedding reception.
If you’ve been following this blog for a while now, you may remember a very pretty little set of black and white save-the-date cards that I designed and printed back in February for a couple who were married this past September in Wheeling, West Virginia. I know it’s been quite a while since then, so if you either weren’t following us then or don’t recall what I’m talking about, check out the Save-the-Date cards here. I realized while writing yesterday’s post, that I hadn’t ever shown off the rest of Sherry and Thomas’ suite, and they were just so cool, I couldn’t resist. You can see all of the pieces in the main invitation suite together at the top of this post.
r envelope liners!
Metallic inks have certainly been a popular choice at Twin Ravens Press for the past couple of weeks! I just finished up this invitation suite earlier this month and boy does it make a gorgeous and very elegant use of metallic gold ink and blind embossing! The invitation suite you see above was created for a lovely couple, Rachel and Joseph, who originally contacted me back in June to create invitations for their upcoming January 2010 wedding in Coral Gables, Florida! Rachel and Joseph’s suite included an A7 size invitation with corresponding, lined envelope, a 4bar size reply card with corresponding envelope and 4bar folded thank you notes with corresponding envelopes. All pieces were printed in metallic gold ink on Crane Lettra 100% cotton paper in Ecru. The envelopes are Crane Lettra envelopes, printed in gold ink with square flaps.
Let me say up front that I LOVE it, when couples looking for custom letterpress stationery contact me well in advance of their wedding date! The more you plan ahead, the more time we will have to come up with something totally awesome, and totally “you”.
Last week I received a really fun e-mail from a client that I’ve been working with for quite sometime. If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you may remember Isabel and her now-husband, Luis. Isa and Luis live in Tunisia and were recently married in Madrid, Spain. Isa designed all of the stationery for her wedding herself and hired Twin Ravens Press to print it. It was pretty fabulous! If you don’t recall what Isabel and Luis’ wedding stationery looked like, or if you haven’t seen it yet, you can see photos and read about it in a couple of my previous posts: here and here. You may also remember that I printed and die-cut a very cool set of round wedding menus for their wedding, which you can see and read about here. Anyway, shortly after their wedding, Isabel designed and had me print a set of thank you cards for them to send out to their wedding guests. I hadn’t shown these off on the blog yet, but when I received Isabel’s e-mail last week with a bunch of truly beautiful and awesome photos from their wedding, I figured now would be the perfect time to show off both!
A couple of months ago, I completed this lovely and classic set of wedding invitations for a couple who will be married exactly one month, less a day, from today! When Julia originally contacted me she wanted her wedding invitations to be beautiful and classic and somewhat reflective of their Cape Cod wedding, without being too beachy or modern. I think we totally accomplished that goal with the set of invitations you see above, which featured an A7 Letterpress wedding invitation, inner and outer invitation envelopes, and a reply card with corresponding envelope.
