Check out the gorgeous, custom letterpress business cards we created earlier this week for San Francisco event planning studio, Blu Bungalow. Blu Bungalow owner, Hazel Bourget, had the design for these cards completed already, and hired Twin Ravens Press to make them a reality. Let me tell you – they turned out awesome! Blu Bungalow’s cards are printed on ultra-thick, 100% cotton, Crane Lettra Duplex weight paper in two different shades of blue. They feature Blu Bungalow’s logo, a couple of cute, tiny twitter and facebook icons and all of the necessary contact information for Hazel and her business on one side, and a lovely pattern of their logo shape all over the back side.
I love the thickness, texture and colors of these business cards. It’s really fun how the “Blu” in their logo is actually the white of the card that has become slightly raised from the impression of the blue logo shape around it. Registration for these cards (ie. how one color lines up to another) wasn’t easy, since the blues are so very close in many areas, but we pulled it off and they turned out awesome!
Founded in 2010, Blu Bungalow is comprised of a boutique and website to showcase and access the best vendors in the event planning industry. Blu Bungalow is opening their doors in the trendy Cow Hollow neighborhood of San Francisco. Anyone who wants to plan an event can visit and access their carefully curated selection of event sylists, world-famous photographers, upscale caterers, sought after DJs and other renowned vendors all in one location. Their mission is to save people time, energy and effort by helping them create their perfect party without the typical time commitment and stress that come with planning a big event.
Twin Ravens Press is super-excited to be working with Hazel and her team! If you’re in the Bay area and are looking for a talented event planner for your wedding or other special event, contact Blu Bungalow!
Thanks so much again Hazel for working with us on your cards! If you ever need anything else, please don’t hesitate to let me know!
